This improvising trio is pretty well established now with a few recordings to its name (i'll hopefully be adding some more to my collection) and they are rightfully garnering a reputation...I think they are going to be a driving force on the British Jazz Improv scene for years to come... They are all exceptional musicians but Corey Mwamba is something else again!
This is a breath of fresh air and it has every right to become cyclonic. John Cratchley

Don't Overthink It treads along the line of venturing into the avant-garde, but before it does it shows some semblance of restraint and relatability. It is a difficult album to explain for it possesses a kind of monotone nature, similar to Dave McDonnell's The Dragon and the Griffin - though still a different kind of album. This is more... mysterious. Christopher Moklebust

This is such great music. I can listen to it over and over without tiring of it. The music is warm and inviting, especially on the vinyl, played with such grace and ease. It is easy to miss appreciating just how good these musicians are. I feel like I found a gold nugget here. Great record, thanks for the music. john greenwood
